BEAP Xtra

BEAP Xtra

60 children from any Primary School

BEAP Xtra is so excited to be performing Annie Jr this year!  Starts Tuesday September 10 2024

Annie is a show all about finding your place in the world and enjoying what makes you happy, and what group is more perfect to tackle such themes than BEAP Xtra. We love watching the children as we start to see both young and old, grow in confidence as they perform, develop their skills and confidence and make lifelong friendships within the cast.

BEAP Xtra rehearse every Tuesday from 5-7 in King David's High School, utilising their brilliant space to bring our performance to life.

The company is non-auditioned, but we do hold auditions  for anyone wanting to try out for a main part. This year the auditions are on Sept 29th.  Auditions are nothing to be nervous about, and most children come out saying they 'enjoyed their audition and want to do it again!'. We ask children to prepare for one part in the show and put all their energy into their vocal and acting audition but you maky be cast in a different role than you auditioned for. Putting yourself forward for audition is really saying, "Hi this is me and this is what I can do, I am ready for any main role.!"

if we think you are more suited to a different part than you auditioned for, it is simply a reflection of your own versatile talent.

The performances this year will be in March, at the state-of-the-art theatre in the City of Liverpool Arts College. The production of Annie will have full costuming, tech, set, makeup, wigs (especially one ginger curly one!) and more to give your children their very own West End experience. There are a few Saturday afternoon  1-5pm rehearsals, (one in November, January, February and March) For more information, check out the BEAP Xtra Calender

The cost for the whole year is £230 which includes everything including a live stream broadcast for any family and friends that cannot make the live performance. You will not be asked to contribute to any costumes or any hidden extras. To watch last years Chitty Chitty Bang Bang to give you an idea of the standard of performance please follow this link: https://www.youtube.com/live/onWtcHwTSjo

The Children also get involved in set and prop making plus designing and writing for the A4 colour souvenir programme and cast T Shirt. We like to celebrate all of the children's talents.

Currently we have 4 places only left for this company and once the places are full we do not go over to make sure all the children have a full experience and get good teacher to pupil time.

If you are interested in one of the remaining places than please contact us using the contact from in the menu or directly using our email: beapaladdin@outlook.com
