The longest BEAP show to date!

We were "sorry not sorry" when we performed our West End showcase in April this year. The end of a fantastic week meant we have a 2.5 hours show for our audience!

This one week course saw a younger BEAP group of Year 5/6/7/8 pupils  explore script work through a 20 minute segment of Aladdin and vocals and dance through a 2o minute segment of Mary Poppins. Our older group of Year 9/10/12 students took on older content with script work explored through Guys and Dolls and dance and vocals through Chicago.

All the students who auditioned were given their moment to shine with solos, duets, trios and quartets dotted throughout the show. All students got a chance to work with our fantastic BEAP team with each group having two vocal coaches, two dance coaches and a director. Our investment with our wonderful staff meant an excellent ratio of staff to student which you can really see in the level of performance we accomplished.

This all paid off with two amazing performances where the audience were truly stunned by what they saw, happy accomplished , confident performances from our fantastic students.

"My child has done these one week courses before but never have we seen a performance like this at the end of it. We were truly amazed by the level of all round performance and can't believe that they could achieve that in just five days really!" Parent

We didn't have it professionally recorded but our lovely technician Colin did let a recording run, if you would like to see it here is the link: https://youtu.be/q9IdAf6iv70

Our West End Showcase will return next year nut move to its regular slot of first week of the Summer Holiday July 22 - 27 2025. Hints of Legally blonde for the older children and Beauty and the Beast for the younger children.
